hey everyone! i can't believe it's already january 31st! already one month into 2008...

anyways, i am extremely tired today! over the past week, i've had an exam in calculus, an oral quiz/composition in spanish, and a quiz in biology. i can safely say that my brain cannot handle anymore information! heh :) well, actually it can, because i have tons of calculus homework and spanish homework to finish for tomorrow! oh wait, not to mention a report to revise in bio. (but don't worry..that's not due for a couple of weeks)

now, college homework usually isn't that bad. it's completely do-able. it's just a matter of finding the time to do it between going to school, working, eating, sleeping, etc. some students find they actually retain information better when they sleep in class, but i prefer sleeping at night. lol just kidding!

this weekend, a group of my friends from OSU admissions and i are going to see the columbus blue jackets play hockey! i have never actually been to a hockey game, so i'm really excited! i actually do not like hockey..i think it is extremely boring! i'd much rather watch a dance competition. of course, i'd want to BE in the dance competition, so maybe if they let me on the ice rink for hockey, i might enjoy it a little bit more...hmm...

i was in competition dance for 15 years. the transition from dancing every week to not dancing at all was pretty tough. i miss it a lot, but i've found other ways to occupy my time, such as finding the derivative of an equation, or defining the intricate processes of mitosis..fun stuff!

well, i need to get going! later on! :)

Hey everyone! This is Megan, obviously. I'm a freshman at the Ohio State University in Lima, Ohio, and I just have to say, so far, so good! :)

When I graduated high school, I actually knew what I wanted to major in. Amazing, I know! My major is biology, but during my college search, I had absolutely no idea what college I wanted to attend. I knew that Ohio State had a renowned arts and sciences program, but I wasn't sure if I was ready for the transition to Columbus. After I checked into the Lima Branch campus, I knew this was where I wanted to go! I LOVE it here! I couldn't imagine being a student at any other college. I AM A BUCKEYE! (yes, that was lame, but it's true!)

I've already finished one quarter of my college career, so I only have about a billion to go! Actually, I really don't know, but believe me, it's not a billion..Anyways, I'm a few weeks into my second quarter, and I couldn't be happier with my classes. The professors are so nice, and they're more than willing to help me with my many questions!

I have a job on campus as a student assistant as well as a telecounselor. As a student assistant, I give tours and help out with special events we have on campus. As a telecounselor, I call prospective students and ask them if they want to come to the amazing Ohio State University! I love my job. Well, I also work at McDonalds in Wapak. I've worked there for a little over two years. It was my first job, and needless to say, I still work there, and I actually love working there! Maintaining two jobs isn't that bad! I find it quite fun! And going to school too? What could be any better! :)

Ah, I wish I could write more, but I have a biology quiz to study for tomorrow...yay for ecology! :)

Later on!
