Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend! I sure did. Well, for the most part! I didn't do anything Friday night, which was really nice for a change. I got to catch up on some reading, and by reading, I'm mainly refering to my websites. I wanted to reread The Guardian, one of my favorite books written by Nicholas Sparks, but my sister has it stored away some where. And the funny thing is it's my book..hmm...but anyways! I got a new T.V./DVD player Friday evening! :) It's an HDTV, and the picture quality is amazing! I can't wait until I can watch OSU Football on it this coming fall; it will be incredible!
My trip to BG was nothing short of educational. The drive up was nice; just Bekah and I talking and getting to know each other. But, once we got there, I honestly didn't know what to think about it! lol I've heard nothing but good things about BG, and I was actually planning on going on a college visit there to get familarized with campus and the university. To make a long story short, there were A LOT of kids! I fail to believe that many people can fit into such a small town. There is one obvious difference between OSU Lima and BG: size. OSU Lima has a very organized, compact campus. It's very easy to navigate, and although I'm sure it wouldn't take me that long to learn my way around campus at BG, there seemed to be no organization among the buildings whatsoever. I was really confused after Susie gave us a "tour." Visiting BG made me realize how right I was in my decision to attend OSU Lima. I couldn't imagine going to another university! If I thought BG was bad, I can only imagine how confused I would have been if I decided to go to main campus in Columbus...
At BG, I attended a free swing dance class. It was really cool! It's a campus event which takes place once a month. It's a really great way to meet people, not to mention an awesome way to spend a Saturday night! What happens is there are a few instructors that teach a dance, a couple's dance. Boys on one side of the room; girls on the other. After the dance is taught, every person finds a partner, and they dance! It was a really neat experiencel! I have never been to anything like it before, and I'm actually thinking maybe OSU Lima can organize something similar...who knows!
Just so I don't completely bore you all, I will end this lovely blog and entertain you at a later date!
Have a good night! Oh, and I hope you remembered to wear green today :) Oh, and by the way, green is my favorite color!

Megan
