First off, I would just like to point out that spring is an EXTREMELY busy time to be a student! lol I have so much stuff that is coming up within the next couple of weeks that I'm finding it hard to keep track of it all..

Last Wednesday and Thursday, we had spring open houses. Wednesday was an event that welcomed students who were committed to attending OSU; thursday was an event that welcomed students who still weren't sure where they wanted to attend college. Both events ran smoothly. As a "thanks for coming," we gave each student a little buckeye tree and an umbrella. I really want one of those umbrellas :(

I passed my first Sociology exam! Yay! Tomorrow, I have my first English exam. It covers The Merry Wives of Windsor and A Midsummer Night's Dream. I sure do love that Bill Shakespeare! On Friday, I have my second Spanish exam. I passed the first one, but I have a feeling this one may be a bit more difficult.

Next Monday and Tuesday, President Gordon Gee is visiting our campus!! Yeah, that's right. THE President of the OSU University is coming to OSU Lima. Monday's event will be held in the evening at the Shawnee Country Club. It's called Spring for Scholarships, but I'm still unsure about the itinerary for the evening. Tuesday's event is held in the morning. Students on campus are participating in a "Meet and Greet" and will be able to get their pictures taken with President Gee. We even get free t-shirts that have bow ties on them..how exciting!

On Wednesday, Buckeye Scholars, a club organized by honor students, is having their second bake sale. I'm going to make puppy chow. Oh, how I love that stuff! Mmm..the money raised is put towards our trip to Chicago on May 17 and 18. I have never been to Chicago, so I am really looking forward to this trip. More details later..

On May 6 and 7, there is a campus photo shoot for publications. And also on May 6, Passport to Lima is hosting an OSU Lima Baseball game. Staff/faculty vs. Students...I will be on the student team...we will most likely dominate. On May 7, WLIO is hosting their annual Scholar Athlete Banquet on campus. I will be in attendance to help out.

I think I'm forgetting something...

I probably am...lol

later on!
