spring quarter has gotten off to a really good start. i'm happy with all of my classes. spanish is going muy bien! lol sociology has finally taken off..dr. houghton is almost finished with his intro to sociology, so hopefully soon we will get into the core subject material of the course. i'm semi-sorta interested in sociology; i've never had any experience with the subject itself. i'm looking forward to learning more about it, just to see if it interests me or not. i've only fallen asleep in class once..hah! so that's a good sign. english hasn't been too bad. i actually really like shakespeare, but i feel the professor can do so much more with the curriculum to make the class more exciting..i have to admit that i've dosed off a few times during her lectures. i apologize :( it can go no where but up. all in all though, i couldn't be happier with this quarter, and i've heard that spring quarter tends to move the fastest..only time will tell!

just to let you know, this past weekend was extremely fun! friday night, i hung out with my friends from the office. there were five of us that went to our friends' apartment and played Wii for hours on end. i cannot believe how much fun that game is! yes yes, i realize i have mentioned it before, but this time, i really got to experience what Wii can do. we golfed, bowled, played tennis, and played baseball. i was up until about 6:30 in the morning, and all of us woke up at 9 wondering why on Earth we stayed up so late! i volunteered to help out with my sister's show choir tournament which just so happened to be that same day, so i was functioning on about 2 1/2 hours of sleep. the event is called Music and More, and it is put on by our school's choral department every year. all the area show choirs come, spend the day, compete, win prizes, and then our show choir is the last performance of the day before awards. i was so super tired but excited to see all my friends who are still in high school and those that have graduated and usually always come back to help with the event.

saturday night, From Ohio With Love (Brad's band) played at The Meeting Place. susie had come home for Music and More, and she accompanied me to Lima where we mingled, listened to music, and drank coffee. very fun evening! we had an early night, about midnight early. we were both so tired! sunday was spent with susie until 2, watching movies and drinking more coffee. we can't get enough of that stuff!

as a final note, i'm starting to get a cold. in between the sneezes, i've been blowing my nose for the past ten minutes. my head feels funny, and my entire body is tired. this is just a spring fever type thing, i'm sure, so hopefully it'll be all gone by the time summer comes! :)

time to finish mi tarea de espanol...

later on,
meg
